Welcome to the Pinky Promise Network

Pinky Promise is...

A promise to honor God with your body and your life. To refuse to give your body to anyone that hasn't paid the price for you called marriage. It's a promise to stay pure before God in EVERY single way. It's a promise that says, I won't test the boundaries in my relationship to see how far I can push it sexually--but instead--I want God to have my heart.

It's a promise to God that you will honor your marriage convenant. It's saying that I promise not to step outside of my marriage, cheat on my spouse and that I'll work through every issue.
Thanks for joining Pinky Promise. Find a group or start a group in your area, and lets encourage each other and build a bond between sisters in Christ.

hor·o·scope
[hawr-uh-skohp, hor‐] Show IPA
noun
1. a diagram of the heavens, showing the relative position of planets and the signs of the zodiac, for use in calculating births, foretelling events in a person's life, etc.
2. a prediction of future events or advice for future behavior based on such a diagram.

LET'S be CLEAR. At Pinky Promise, we don't believe or agree with Horoscopes. Horoscopes are cousins with witchcraft & if we really honor God with our entire life.. we seek the Holy Spirit for the direction of our life, not the moon. OUR advice comes from Christ alone & HE pours wisdom onto us. So yes, it's that serious. ♥

It truly breaks my heart that many people live their lives based on what their horoscope tells them that morning, as well as by the stigma that is attached to their zodiac sign. It's absolutely preposterous to lump a group of people together and say that they all have the same tendencies just because their birthdays occur around the same time! In the same way, it's silly to think that a "compatible sign" is necessary to have a good relationship. WRONG! God is the basis of any and all good relationships and He is the only One who knows the future.

I agree!! I've learned that some people JUST dont' know, so sometimes we gotta shine the light on these areas so people know! And a relationship is all wrapped up in DAILY decision to MAKE it work-- not according to some sign! :)

I've never believed in Horoscopes, i dont even like associating it with my birthday. People really attach it to their persona like "Cancers are this that's why my friend is like that" Its terrible. God made us all in his image, no one was made "freaky" like a Scorpio or whatever else is associated with that mess. Allison you hit the nail on the head with the compatibility as well.

I concur!! I was raised on believing that anyone or anything with mystic powers other than the Holy Spirit is the study of witch craft! Other than the prophets that God has called to give us confirmation of the promises God has given us or the warnings that we must heed... it's witchcraft!

I used to when I was trying to follow the crowd...smh. My pastor did a bible study on witchcraft and stuff. Horoscopes were included. I know that God controls all things. He is the author, the finisher....not the moon or a scorpion. I'm a Libra and I don't even know what that means lol. People ask me what my son's sign is. I be like "are you serious??" I don't follow that. They look at me like I'm crazy. It's all stupid... I go by what God tells me. I know people who take it soooooooooooooooooo serious. I mean, they base their lotto numbers off of it. It's a shame.

NOPE! I dont read my horoscope, I think it is a form of witchcraft, and it is misleading. Before I got saved I would. But now never. Also my Pastor preaches on horoscopes, tarot cards and any other forms of witchcraft. Only God knows your future and the plans for your life. I pray and ask the good Lord to guide me.

I also used to before i was truly a Christian. I have told others about it and about superstitions but they just get angry at me. Thanks for posting truth. Nothing can tell our future or our day.
